Whereabouts Sought

Nick Harris has asked me to publish the following

I have put this on Facebook, but in case I don’t get a response, I wonder of this could be circulated to members, please?
Please can anyone assist in identifying a former female Notts officer with a surname ERSWELL?
This is possibly her maiden name. Unfortunately no details of service dates etc. are known.
Some relatives from the London area are trying to get in touch to let her know about the death of an uncle.
Any information gratefully received

Nick

Caroline Leighton

I ave been contacted by a member of the group that is looking after Carolines’ needs, although the message appeared on Facebook and we were requested to publish this is not the case and appears that whoever published on Facebook did not have the required permission to do so.

John Kennedy

Thank You from Hilda Wallace

In September 2017 myself & two friends & Barney the greyhound walked the 6K challenge for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of my husband Dan Wallace who was a serving Officer on the Dog Section for most of his time.
We would like to thank NARPO for for putting our message on the website & also many thanks for the lovely messages posted along with generous donations by ex-colleagues.
The Just Giving Alzheimer’s website is now closed. We raised an amazing £890 between us & would be grateful if you would pass on this message to all those concerned who generously contributed.
There will be a cure one day for this dreadful disease & these donations will go towards enabling this much needed research to continue.
Happy New Year wishes.

Hilda, Angela & Wendy.
