Notification of the death of a Police Widow
Margaret Ethel Smith
It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Margaret Ethel Smith, aged 86 years, the widow of a Harold Digby Smith, a retired Police Officer. Margaret died on Sunday 12 April, 2020.
The funeral is at 10.30am Monday 27 April 2020 at Wilford Hill Crematorium, only close family members may attend.
The undertakers are the Co-operative Funeralcare, 85 Wolds Drive, Keyworth, NG12 5FT.
Margaret was the widow of Harold Digby (King) Smith who died in 2006. He joined the City Police and served on Northern and Central Divisions, C I D, Mechanised and Traffic Department. He retired in 1980

Margaret was a friend and former neighbour. She was a lovely lady who always looked on the bright side even during her years of ill health. She and King had four lovely children Carole, John, Julia and Adrian who we had the privilege of seeing grow up into fine adults.
