Annual Dinner

The Annual Dinner on Friday 8th December 2017 is booking up fast, to avoid disappointment let the Secretary John Kennedy know as soon as possible at Nottinghamshirenarpo@gmail.com

For those who have  already booked there has been a slight change to the menu choices in so much that Cheese and Biscuits has been added to the desert choice,

The Secretary will be writing to all those who have responded within the next few days but must have names and menu choices by 31st October

Death of the Spouse of a Retired Officer

Lynda Anne Ramowski

It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Lynda Anne RAMOWSKI, aged 69 years, who died on Thursday 28 September. May she rest in peace.

Lynda was the wife of Alec RAMOWSKI who was a City Police Officer and served mainly at Hyson Green area in uniform and CID.

At one stage Lynda worked in the bar at Radford Road Police Station.

The funeral is at 12/30pm. On Wednesday 11 October 2017, at Bramcote Crematorium.  The undertakers are A W Lymn, Robin Hood Street, Nottingham. NG3 1GF

There will be a wake after at the British Legion Club, Bramcote Lane, Wollaton (near to the Admiral Rodney Public House).

There will also be a chance to celebrate the life of Lynda in the evening at the West Notts Club, 25 Noel Street, Hyson Green.

Al are welcome to attend these events.

Lynda loved flowers so anyone wishing to take or send them can

do so.

Brian ‘Barney’ Hagen

It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Brian ‘Barney’ HAGEN, aged 80 years, who died on Thursday 21 September 2017.    May he now rest in peace.

The funeral is at 1.30pm. on Tuesday 10 October 2017 at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Church Street, Warsop, Nottingham NG20 0SN

The funeral directors are G A Townroe & Son, High Street, Warsop, NG20 0AG. Any donations to the Cancer Patient and Carer Fund that provides equipment for suffers and their carers, via the Undertaker or at the Service.

Barney joined the County Force in 1964 and served at Chilwell, Mansfield, Dog Section, Force Support, and the Guildhall Cells before retiring in 1990.

There will be refreshments after at the Oaklands Centre, Oakfield Lane, Warsop, NG20 0JE.  All are welcome

It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Brian HAYES, aged 87 years, who died on Tuesday, 26 September 2017 May he rest in peace.

The funeral is at 11.00am Friday 20 October 2017, at  the Friary United Reform Church on Musters Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham.  NG2 7PR.  All are welcome.        There will be a private cremation after at Wilford Hill Crematorium.

The undertakers are W A Lymn, Rutland House, Melton Road, West Bridgford. NG2 6EP.

Any donations to Pulmonary Fibrosis, British Lung Foundation via the undertaker or at the Service.

Brian joined the City Police in 1953 and served mainly on the Dog

Section both a handler before retiring in 1985.

There will be refreshments after at the Airhostess Public House,

Stanstead Avenue, Tollerton. NG12 4AE   All are welcome.
