  1. So very, very sad to learn of Chris’s passing. A true friend for many years. With much love to Glynis, Ashley, Rachel & Lizzie and their families.

  2. I remember those days at Traffic Wing Peachey St with Chris. I guess the funeral will be in the area of Richmond, which might see less of his work mates attending the funeral. Might be on one of those video links ?

  3. Sorry to hear about this. We have known Chris and Glynis since 1967. Chris was a member of the Underwater Search Unit, as I was in the 70’s. Best wishes to Glynis at this time. Terry & Anne.

  4. Our paths crossed on the Traffic Department at Nottingham and whilst we were never on the same shift, he was someone I respected as a hard working, dedicated, loyal and professional Traffic Officer.

Chris was a dedicated Federationist during a time when the organisation was respected and effective.

RIP Chris, it was a pleasure to know him. Sincere, deepest thoughts with the family.

  5. I’ve only just heard of Chris’s sad passing.
    I knew Chris when I worked TD(N) in late 1980s early 1990s.
He became a good friend and colleague especially when I decided to leave the force to become a church minister.
As our Pol Fed Rep he arranged for me to retire, for which I’m extremely grateful.
He attended my commissioning service at West Bridgford Baptist Church in 1992.
A really good copper and a lovely man.
    My condolences to his family.
