Death of Police Widow.
It is with sadness that I report the death of Police Widow Sylvia Ruth YOUNG 88yrs who passed away at her Huthwaite home on the 25th October 2024 after a long illness .
Sylvia was the wife of Sgt Joseph Barrymore YOUNG ( Barry) a Sergeant at Sutton in Ashfield who passed away in 2003.
Sylvia leaves children Linda, Carol, Phillip and Paul.
Her Cremation will take place at 3pm Friday 22nd November 2024 at Mansfield Crematorium Newstead Chapel, Derby Road, Mansfield.
Our thoughts and condolences are extended to the family at this very sad time.

I didn’t know Sylvia, but remember Barry with fondness. I must have had a premonition as last as last week I drove past their home and thought of Barry. Reunited after 21 years. . mick809
