Notification of the death of the Spouse of a Retired Police Officer

Joan Dorothy Plaskitt

It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Joan Dorothy Plaskitt, aged 75 years, the spouse of Geoffrey Plaskitt a retired Police Officer.    Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.   Joan died at the Queens Medical Centre on Sunday 21 February 2021   Not Covid related.

The funeral is at 3.15 pm on Tuesday 16 March 2021 at Mansfield Crematorium which will be shown on a webcast.    Details will be circulated later.

Joan was a member of the Trefoil Guild of Girlguiding which has similar ambitions to NARPO   She has been involved with the Brownies and the Girl Guides for many years.  Geoff joined the Combined Force in 1972 and was stationed at Bulwell and Hucknall.  He retired in 1999.

  3. Joan was a dear friend to everyone in guiding from helping in units to going on pack holidays/camps. She will be sadly missed. Thinking of you Geoff at this time.
