  1. This is very sad news. Trevor was a first class person and I spent many happy hours with him on the cricket field. His zest for cricket was enormous and he was always ready to assist in any way he could. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family at this terrible time.

  2. Trevor and I went to the same school in Derby and lived in the same area. Meeting up with him in Derby set me on the path to join Nottingham City Police in 1959. He was a lovely bloke to be with and was a really good batsman at cricket. What a sad way Togo. Thoughts with his family and friends who will surely miss him greatly.

  5. Trevor was a regular member of the City Police Cricket Team throughout the 60’s, during that time we won a number of competitions. The most important of these being our annual joust with Underwood CC the losers paying for a barrel of ale (I never remember paying for this).
I don’t think Trevor ever realised how good a player he was. Such a modest guy, such great memories.

  6. I have known Trevor for many years not only as a work colleague but also as a friend and neighbour. My wife, Judith and I have kept in touch and exchanged cards at Christmas time. He suffered over the past few years with MS which was a shame considering his sporting prowess on the cricket field. We saw each other at the City Police reunions when he was fit enough to attend. We are sorry is life had to end this way and would like to pass our sympathy onto his wife Beryl and his two daughters, Julie and Janice.
