It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Betty Elizabeth Akers, aged 85 years, a widow of a retired Police Officer./ Betty died on 27 October 2020. Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
Betty was the widow of Dennis Akers, a retired Police Officer. Dennis joined the City Police and served at Central and the Courts Office. He died some time ago.

My thoughts are with the Family. I was proud to serve with Dennis as a Cadet in the City Police Days. It takes a Special kind of Lady to be a Police Officers Wife and am sure Betty was that Special Lady. I think Chris was his on.
