We have not had the death notice yet, unless I have missed it?

  17. Joe was an Inspector at Hamilton House when I worked there in the early 1980s and also my Inspector on the Miners dispute. I played football with and against Joe for a number of years in the Police Sunday league. Joe was a great cop and a true gentleman. I last had a brief conversation with Joe in the beer garden of the Greyhound pub at Mansfield Woodhouse a couple of years ago. His passing has come as somewhat of a shock because Joe always seemed to be fit as a fiddle keeping himself in fine shape. My condolences to his family at this sad time.
