  3. Peter and I worked together on the ‘track’ in the mid 1970’s and I remember vividly the two of us dealing with a 40 vehicle accident which happened one foggy night. Very sad to hear my old partner on TP01 has gone 10/2 for the last time. RIP Pete.

  4. Happy memories of working with Peter on the motorway alongside Andy Bain. Spent many hours on patrol. Always a gentleman. His love of cricket was infectious – taught me how to score and umpire. Condolences to the family.

  13. Worked with Peter on Traffic – cant remember the dates – but I remember the jobs we attended, One night shift on patrol in Bulwell, stopped a car speeding away from factory premises, looked suspicious, stopped and searched, obviously had stolen gear on board. Arrested 2. Turned out to be tip of an iceberg job. Peter got himself seconded to CID for a week to sort it out.
