“For all those former City Officers and ladies who have elected to attend the Civic Reception at the Council House on Friday afternoon the 24th August are asked to arrive no later than 2.30 pm reporting to the Reception Desk where they will be directed to the Banqueting Room in readiness for our host, the Lord Mayor`s arrival at 3 pm prompt. Light refreshments will be served after the initial introductions and brief formalities. It is anticipated the event will terminate at about 4.30 / 4.45 pm

Dear Keith and Mick,When are County officers, who served at the same time and for just as long as these City officers, getting their Civic Receptions? (This is their second, isn’t it?)We also had to give up our collar numbers so that the City could keep theirs. Seems a bit unfair don’t you think.Geoff Padmore (Pc 566/1366)
