The Branch AGM is due to take place at 2pm Friday 22nd April 2022 at Ramsdale Park Golf Club, members are invited to attend, we would request that if you are coming and have not already notified the Secretary please do so at nottinghamshire@narpo.org

At the end of the meeting a buffet meal has been arranged.

BRANCH OUTINGS

National Arboretum on Friday 27 May 2022

We are now able to restart the Branch Outings dates and venues book so far are: –
National Arboretum Trip 27 May 2022.

We are planning a trip to the National Arboretum on Friday 27 May 2022. There will be
a £5.00 deposit. This trip will be restricted to members/partners only due to the
expected response.

Pick up points will be High Street, Car Park Arnold NG5 7DZ at 8.00am and at the
Mansfield Civic Centre NG19 7BH at 8.45am. Both are pay and display. Both are £3.00
all day parking.

Refreshments are available at the venue and can be pre booked or just turn up. A main
course only is £15.50 and for a two course it is £17.50. If you wish to book a meal,
there is a £5.00 non-returnable deposit payable in advance and pay the remainder when

Ladies Day will be at Stadium Leisure, Nottingham Road, Basford. NG51EG 1.00pm to
5.00pm on Saturday 4th June 2022.

All Police Widows are invited to attend, transport can be provided for those who have
difficulty in getting to the venue. If you are coming in your own vehicle, could you pick
up others enroute.

BIRMINGHAM CANALS Friday 15th July 2022

We are planning to visit Birmingham to experience a canal boat trip on Friday 15th July

Pick up points are 8.00am at Arnold Leisure car park off High Street (NG5 7DZ)
at £3.00 all day and 8.45am and Mansfield Civic Centre car park, on Rosemary Street.
NG19 7BH £3.00 all day. Both are pay and display and make sure you park within the
lines.
This will be restricted to members/spouses/partners only, due to the expected
response.
Birmingham is reputed to have more canals than Venice and it is a fascinating
experience to travel on them. There are many shops/bars/restaurants etc. in the area.
We are also hoping to arrange an optional walking tour.
