Bill was a very helpful guy and in fact transported me to Pannal Ash for 10 weeks in the depths of winter 1956. He had a motorbike and sidecar and I used to chill out in the sidecar. We lost contact with each other when he moved to Traffic but I remember him as a great person who helped me in my early career.
