Volunteer Opportunities, Nottingham Blood Bikes

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH NOTTINGHAMSHIRE BLOOD BIKES

Hi,

I have been contacted by James Grundey, Fleet Manager for Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes (they have cars too) who is looking for volunteers to join them in their vital work, see below,

We are looking for new volunteers. There are different roles available, riders, drivers, controllers and fundraisers.

For Riders, they would need an enhanced riding qualification, IAM, ROSPA, ERS.

For Drivers, we have an in-house driving assessment / training with 2 members who are driving instructors. This assessment is free so a good option to on-board with the charity

All volunteers would also go through our on boarding training which covers using our booking system, what to do in case of accidents or blood spillages etc.

Volunteers can do any length shifts to suit them. Some Members do a number of days together, others do an hour here and there. We  now operate 24/7/365 so day time, evenings, night time, any time people can give is very helpful
