CHAIRMAN

Overall control of Branch and Meetings

Attend Regional Meetings

VICE CHAIRMAN

To Act as Chairman in absence of Chairman or where the Chairman is undertaking another role i.e. NEC Membership

SECRETARY

To Deal with all Branch Correspondence,

Circulate information as appropriate to membership and Committee

Maintain accurate copies of Minutes and Agenda

Supersleuth Updater

Receive all applications for Branch Membership

Arrange AGM

Maintain Website

Circulate Branch Newsletter

Deal with all Pension Queries

Liaison with XPS

Liaison with National Office

Attend Regional Meetings

Arrange Annual Conference

Pension Queries

TREASURER

Maintain all Financial Records

Arrange for accounts to be Audited

ASSISTANT SECRETARY

To undertake Secretary’s role in absence

Arrange meetings of Social Committee and arrange Social Functions (in conjunction with Social Committee Members)

Deaths notifications and circulations

BENEVOLENT FUND TRUSTEES 4 Members of Branch Committee to represent NARPO as Trustees to the Benevolent Funds, to put forward any cases on behalf of our membership
WIDOWS BIRTHDAY CARDS Two members of Committee to send out Birthday cards from list provided by Secretary
OVER 80 BIRTHDAY CARDS One Member of Committee  to send out Birthday Cards to members who are over 80
