Book of Condolence – Retired Officer – Kenneth Walpole

It is with sadness that I report the death of Retired Officer Dc1109 Kenneth WALPOLE who died suddenly and unexpectedly at his Gloucestershire home on the 2nd November 2025. He was 71yrs.

Ken joined the Police Service in 1984 and retired in 1997 on Medical Grounds. He worked mainly out of Bestwood and Oxclose Lane as a Detective Constable.

Her leaves his wife Wendy and sons, Tom and Luke.

Due the passing of time and the late notification the funeral has already taken place and the undertakers were Beechwood Funeral Services of Gloucester.

Our thoughts and condolences are extended to the family at this very sad time.

  1. Worked with Kenny at Oxclose Lane. A lovely man and great cop. Was shocked to hear of his sudden passing. My condolences to his family at this sad time. 😔
