Jane Frances ALLEN 78yrs was the wife of Retired Police Sergeant 340 John ALLEN. Sadly Jane passed away after a long illness on the 14th January 2025 at the Nursing Home at which she had spent some time suffering from Alzheimers.
John joined the Nottinghamshire Police in March 12969 and retired in April 1998 in the rank of Sergeant.
A Cremation Service for Jane will take place at Gedling Crematorium, Catfoot Lane, Lambley, Nottingham NG14 4QH at 10am Wednesday 5th February 2025..
The undertakers are Baguley Brothers of Mansfield Road, Sherwood, Nottingham.

So very sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. John and I were members of the same shift at the Meadows in the early 80s. A lovely man and a great and enjoyable period in my career. My very sincere condolences John to you and your family.
