  2. Comment from John Redfern Ex Pc 196, I first met Geoff when he came back from America after his D.A.R.E. training when he did a presentation with Diane CURLEY to the School Liaison Officers at Epperstone Manor. I knew nothing about D.A.R.E. until then and I was very impressed with with their professionalism & enthusiasm for the project. Along with about 24 other officers I became a D.A.R.E. officer. One of the best career decisions I ever made. Geoff was such a kind & caring Officer & a true gentleman who made a lot of difference to so many children in his delivery of D.A.R.E. and his family  should be justly proud of him. What a great guy. I was proud to be associated with him & the D.A.R.E. programme. Thanks Geoff R.I.P. John Redfern DARE Bassetlaw.

  3. Like Geoff I was largely based in the Mansfield/Ashfield areas over much of my service so met with him as a colleague many times especially so as we joined pretty much at the same time.

He was always kind, caring and a gentleman in the old school sense of the word and a pleasure to spend time with. I know he will be missed greatly by both family and friends indeed by all who got to know him as I did.

    Rest in peace Geoff.
