Death of Police Widow.
It is with sadness that I report the death of Mavis PHILLIPS 89yrs who sadly passed away at her Ruddington home on the 16th October 2024.
Mavis was the widow of Supt John Phillips who passed away in 2023.
Her funeral will take place at 1.15pm Monday 11th November at Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium. The family would welcome friends and former colleagues to attend and pay their respects should they wish to do so.
Mavis leaves her daughter Beverley.
Our thoughts and condolences are extended to the family at this very sad time.

It is to my notice that Lynn Jacks the wife of Sgt Lewis Jacks died about a week ago but I have not seen any notification. It may be that he is not part of the system
