It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Jacqueline Ashton, 83 years, a widow of a retired Police Officer.     

Jacqueline died on Wednesday 26 January 2022.   Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

Jacqueline was the widow of Douglas Ashton who died in 2019.   Douglas joined the County Force in 1956 and served at Bingham, Cotgrave, Mansfield, New Ollerton and Force Headquarters.   He retired in 1986.   His collar number was 1086.
