I worked with Dave at Bridgford in the 80s. He was a tough, self reliant, impressive and extremely dependable man and I like to think a good friend. RIP Dave, 72 is far too young an age to be gone. My deepest condolences to his family.

David was a man of few words but what he said was always worth hearing. A great judge of character and a hard-working and professional police officer. His Nottinghamshire collar number was originally 5 which I think he would have kept, given the choice, but he lost it when the male and female numbers were combined. RIP.

So sorry to learn of David’s passing. I worked with him on Central Division and Special Ops Unit. A quiet, mild mannered man but he earned the respect of his colleagues. My sincere condolences to his family. RIP David.
