What a lovely guy a real gentleman – he tutored me when I started at the Meadows Police Station, Station Street – excellent at walking a beat properly – gaining information and inspiring confidence in the local community.

Met Brian when I was a cadet in the early 70’s I was stationed at Canal Street. A station full of characters.
Remember Brian always had time to talk and answer any questions I had.

When I was posted to Canal Street in 1968 Brian was one of the first to welcome me. He was always helpful if I needed it. Later in life my daughter Caroline went to school with Nichola Brian’s daughter. Both Caroline and I send our condolences to his family.

I worked with Brian at Station Street in the late 70’s. He was a real Gent and always had a chat with me, a young probationer at that time. RIP Brian. Deepest condolences to family and friends.
