Rest In Peace Tom. My condolences to your Family, we worked together at Hucknall in 1972 when you were straight out of training school. Never forget your strong Jordy accent sometimes I couldn’t understand what you were saying. Sleep well mate.

I was a Dc at Hucknall when Tom joined from training. He was so keen to learn and to get onto CID. He had a great sense of humour and with his strong Jordy accent he was a pleasure to be with. RIP Tom

I first met Tom on day one of out training in 1972.He was one of the characters on the course. He loved to have a laugh and was in his element telling his jokes to the class.A likely lad I would say but very likeable.I know he didnt like being away from his family during the course and wasnt overly keen on wearing the uniform as his intention from day one was for a CID career. A very capable copper.Sad loss.
