  4. Mick and I served together in Graham Marsdens very happy section at Canning Circus.
My wife Rose worked with Micks dad Jack for a number of years and we attended Micks wedding at Gedling church to the lovely Mandy.
We were very saddened to hear this news.
    RIP Mick.

  5. Worked on the same Shift with Mick at Bulwell in the 80’s. Great Guy, Lots of Humour, enjoyed a good laugh and talking over memorable incidents. Always recall Him chasing an offender through Bulwell calling out what became the Shifts Motto, ” Come Here i want a word with you.”
A good bloke to have on your side.
Condolences to the Family. R.I.P Mick.

  6. Mick…never forgotten you falling asleep in a house in Bulwell and the house holder phoning in asking what to do with you…
    Learnt a lot from you

  7. I started at Highways and was on the same course and then shift as Mick. A wonderful funny man. I used to love his war stories of Notts police in the 70s and 80s and then when he worked on the dare program. He taught me a lot about how to deal with people. I also miss the smell of st Bruno. RIP Mick.
