Notification of the death of a retired Police Officer
James Albert McGrady
It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of James Albert McGrady, aged 92 years, a retired Police Officer. James died on 26 August 2020.
James joined the County Force in 1951 and retired as Sergeant 1135 in 1981. Unfortunately we have not been able to contact a relative for any further details. Should we obtain any further details they will be added to this entry

Jim was Sergeant in FCR back in the early 80’s and was the nicest chap you could work with. He had a dry sense of humour and loved a good joke but knew his job inside out. After retirement, Jim worked as the delivery driver for Force Catering. Rest-in peace old friend.
