Notification of the death of a spouse of a retired Police Officer

Elizabeth Anne Cooper

It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Elizabeth Anne Cooper, aged 79 years, the spouse of a retired Police Officer.    Anne died on Thursday 3 September 2020 after a long illness.   Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

Anne is the spouse of Brian Cooper who joined the County Force in 1957 as a cadet.  He became a regular Officer in 1960 and was stationed at Kirkby in Ashfield, Worksop, Newark and Newark and Ollerton Traffic.   He retired in 1988.

A Book of Condolence will be placed on our web site for members to add their comments and any updates will be added to it.

Brian requested we publish the attached photograph.

    I am so sorry to hear that Anne has passed away. The last time we spoke you mentioned that your time was committed to caring for her, a difficult thing to do. Look after yourself and remember all those good times you had together. Mick Pick.
