  4. I got to know Barbara very well as a result of working closely with Gordon from Amalgamation in 1968 up until his stroke. They both became good friends to me and my wife, Julia. In fact, Gordon was my best man at our wedding. Barbara was very proud of her sons, Neil and Clive. We enjoyed socialising with them and attending police functions together. Barbara was always friendly, greeting us with a big smile, and we have very fond memories. We send our sincere condolences to the family.

Very sad news.I was good school friends with her youngest son Clive and spent many days at their house on Matlock Ave playing snooker, listening to rock music and avoiding school work.I must have sampled about every variety of lovely cake that Barbara baked.Very fond memories. Love and best wishes to Clive ,Neil and their families.
