
Death of the Spouse of a Retired Police Officer
ELIZABETH CLAIRE RAWLINSON
It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Elizabeth
Claire Rawlinson, wife of Colin Rawlinson, a retired Police Officer.
Elizabeth died on 30 March 2020. Our thoughts are with the family at
this difficult time.
Colin joined the County Police in 1957 and his first posting was Sutton in
Ashfield. He then moved to C I D and rose through the ranks to
Detective Superintendent. He retired in 1989.

Hi Colin. Having seen u both in Feb as I took u to hospital it was still a shock after my holiday to find u both in a care home. Sorry that Claire will not get a lady captains send off due to the virus and the respect she deserves. Best wishes to you, Adrian and family. X
