Velda Cross
It is with sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Velda Cross, aged 80 years, the wife of Keith Cross, a retired City Police Officer. Velda died on Monday 20 August 2018.
The funeral is at 4.30pm. Monday 10 September at the Gedling Crematorium. All are welcome.
The funeral directors are W A Lymn at The Old Far, Welbeck Road, Mansfield Woodhouse, NG19 9JZ.
Velda was once employed as a civilian in the typist pool at Central Police Station.

I joined the City Police Cadets in 1958. I was posted to the General office at the Guildhall .This is where Velda was employed as a typist. A lovely lady full of spirit.
