I have received the following information today from the National Office the document itself is from the Independent Commissions Office
ICO states that a Force cannot require excessive amounts of personal data from former officers as part of their Injury on Duty Award (IODA) review process.
The requirement for all historical data held about former officers as part of IODA reviews appears to be excessive and in breach of the DPA.
This is also on our website and contained in our updated Aide Memoir-
http://www.narpo.org/life/pensions/injury-pensions/
Notts NARPO will be communicating this information to the Force for comment, it can also be found on the IODPA Site.
Should any member require any further information please contact the Secretary by email at nottinghamshirenarpo@gmail.com
