Further details will be published nearer to the date, if you are aware of anyone who would qualify and are not on email perhaps you could pass this around

  1. Hello Keith, I have to say I feel a bit disappointed to hear that this is the second time that ‘The City’ have had a civic reception at the Council House, hosted by the Lord Mayor, to celebrate the amalgamation. What about the many of us who served in ‘The County’ and also had to change our collar numbers to allow ‘The City’ to keep their original numbers. Don’t we count, or has it been forgotten that TWO forces amalgamated? It’s not sour grapes, it’s about fairness.

  2. Hello Michael, Just a quick note about the two invitations you have sent to me. I have already been to look around The Council House a few years ago,so am not interested in seeing it again, especially as numbers are limited. The other reception, The 50th Anniversary, unfortunately or fortunately, I will be away on holiday on that date. Thank you for letting me know. I will be sorry to miss the get together, I have enjoyed the two previous ones I have attended. I hope it is a huge success, and also, thank you and Keith for all your work you do on behalf of NARPO. Regards, Janet PLATT.
